Burglary Alrewas

Overnight two house breaks have occurred, one in Micklehome Drive Alrewas and the other Park Road Alrewas.

Residents of Micklehome Drive heard a noise at 03.36hrs - 31/03/2022 and disturbed 2 intruders causing the intruders to leave the property. Entry was forced through the rear patio door by snapping a barrel lock and a purse was taken. If you have CCTV or ring door bell's could you please for any suspicious activity.
Please contact Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting log number 31/03/2022 - 52 if you have any information.

In a further incident, residents of Park Road came downstairs this morning 31/03/2022 to find that they had been broken into overnight. A untidy search was made of the kitchen, resident believes that the intruders were after vehicle keys, as vehicle was unlocked by intruders but they could not start vehicle without key. ( key kept safe in faraday bag) Entry was forced through the front door, resident believes they gained access to their property by drilling the lock.

Please remain vigilant at all times, make sure your property/vehicle is secure and locked at all times. Where possible look into getting extra security around your property such as considering investing in anti-snap door lock barrels for your external doors on your home. If you have a vehicle with keyless entry technology, keep the keys in a faraday bag that helps block the keys signal to the vehicle.
