Vehicle crime in Codsall

At approx. 2250hrs on Monday night, a vehicle was broken into on Farran Drive, Codsall, police incident 422, 19/4/2022. The offenders used a scanner to gain entry to the Range Rover Sport and were in process of trying to start the vehicle when they were disturbed by a neighbour. They made off in a black Alfa Romeo, 57 reg, towards Pendeford.

Overnight Tues 19th - Wed 20th April, a car was broken into on Leveson Crescent, round the corner from Farran Drive, police incident 116, 20/4/2022. There was a screwdriver and a glove left behind in this vehicle, suggesting they were disturbed also. Forensics officers are due to attend to examine these items today and a local PCSO will be in the area today carrying out scene enquiries and reassurance.

Please review your security around your vehicles. Consider full steering wheel cover locks (disclocks) and trackers, as well as security lights and CCTV.
