Vandalism at Bolehall Moor

Alert message sent 30/04/2022 15:32:00

Information sent on behalf of Staffordshire Police

For the second time in as many weeks, unknown offenders have committed vandalism wherein red spray paint has been sprayed over the information boards and other signage at Bolehall Moor Nature Reserve.

One of the signs, giving details of a Public Space Protection Order for the location, is located quite high up in a tree and would have required some sort of aid to be reached.

Whilst efforts have been made to clean the information boards etc we do not want this vandalism reoccurring and would like your help in identifying who may be responsible.

If anyone in the vicinity has any CCTV or doorbell cam footage or any relevant information (such as a missing can of red spray paint from the shed/garage) then please either respond to this message or contact Staffs Police on 101, Facebook or Twitter quoting incident number 796 of 29/04/22.

In an effort to deter any further vandalism, the location has been added to the hotspot list for the Tamworth anti-social behaviour (ASB) car for regular patrols. For more information on the ASB car please feel free to contact us as per the aforementioned methods.
