Alert message sent 15/05/2022 13:35:00

Information sent on behalf of Staffordshire Police

Over night in the very early hours of the morning, there has been a spate of vehicle crimes in SMALLTHORNE whereby vehicles have been broken into and ransacked during the break in the glove box has been emptied and the contents removed such as purses and wallets.

As a gentle reminder, it is good practice never to leave ANYTHING of monetary value within the vehicle in sight or in the obvious places like glove box, under seats in the centre arm rest, these are the first places that are checked.

If, during the very early hours of the morning anyone sees anything they think is suspicious around cars or, any property. Please call the police on 101 or of its an emergency 999
