Hot weather safety

Alert message sent 16/06/2022 08:20:00

Information sent on behalf of Staffordshire Police

Afternoon, it's that time of year when we are carrying out a lot of outside work, having garden get togethers, and enjoying the warm/hot weather. Its easy to forget that there are those waiting to take advantage at this time. Remember to close windows when not at home or retiring for the night. Put away mowers, strimmers and other garden implements. Garden furniture should be under lock and key if possible and out of sight. Don't forget in the heat your own and your child's safety ie: drink plenty of water dress appropriately in the sun, wear a head covering and use sun lotion.
